Yeah, gorillas are famous for that. My friend's Mom saw a bratty kid get hit in the face by a steaming dump after taunting a gorilla at the zoo. I think that brat was asking for trouble by messing with a grumpy gorilla.

Hey, I think both Kawasaki man, and the SF kook, did it intentionally. That dirty little finger certainly didn't slip into his mouth by accident!

ps - Sorry to ruin your breakfast butt?!

"fling it at us"...What a horrible imagination! The gorillas in the zoo somethimes do like that though.
I think Kawasaki man did it unintentionally, but SF man did it definitely intentionally! Who can dropped one's pants unintentionally?
Oh, I stick to this topic too much!

I think 1GHz is not so bad and not so good, and 256MB is not enogth for Windows XP as you wrote.
Did you put extra memory on your PC?

My Laptop PC has 1.2GB memory not only for E-mail and Web but also for my research (computer simulation). But unfortunately My PC does'nt have enoght spare space in HDD.

That's right. I still remember the first time I saw it happen too. I was 9 years old, and it was my first trip to San Francisco.

Some guy dropped his pants in front of my family and I...then proceeded to do his business right there on the sidewalk, in broad daylight! My sister and I laughed, but my Mom told us to be quiet. Maybe she was afraid he'd get angry and fling it at us.

It was the first time I saw such a thing, but unfortunately, not the last. :(

This laptop I'm using has a 1 GHz processor, which is not too bad, but it only has 256MB of RAM. Since it's running Windows XP, it's basically moving at a snail's pace.

Noriko, I think your second point may be the most likely. In a big city people tend to forget that they are surrounded by others. A crowd of people becomes more like an obstacle course than real human beings.

In LA, we spend more time in our cars than walking on the street, so I didn't experience it as much there. I caught a few people picking their noses while driving on the freeway in LA...but this was the first time I saw someone eat it!

However, I've seen much worse than that in San Francisco, including people defecating on sidewalks in broad daylight. In SF, nobody picks up their dog poop either, you so have to be careful when you walk...you don't know if you'll step in something human or canine!!!!

It's funny to see the people's unconscious action. But that man was so ugly!
That man wasn't really halmful, never pointed a gun, never showed a knife. But I understand that the scene was so traumatic for you.
I feel I see that kind of strange people in the big city much more, even they're watched by a lot of people. Are they too much stressed out to mind the other people? Or, do they think people on the street are just the scenery for them?
Anyway, I guess your "Japanese trauma collection" will increase. Please enjoy them!
