I don’t really see it as being negative. My flight was going great, but then “took a turn for the worse.” We flew smack dab into one of the biggest typhoons Tokyo has seen since the Second World War.

However, things ended up ok in the end, as I said in the last line of my post: “But I feel it worked out ok, cause I got to see another part of Japan for free.”

Actually, it was great, cause I got a free buffet, stayed in a nice hotel, and saw Kobe. I also forgot to mention before that Singapore Airlines even gave each passenger a Cross pen.

If you’ve never heard of Cross, they are a very high-end pen manufacturer. I couldn’t believe they did so much for us, when the bad weather was obviously out of there control.

That’s probably why Singapore Airlines ranks on top for customer service. I’ll never forget how well I was treated by them!
